Still Wines

Since its founding in 1947 at the historic mill on the banks of the Barossa River, Chateau Yaldara has been renowned for its elegant architecture and rich winemaking heritage. The CY Series represents a contemporary expression of the winery’s classic spirit: the letter “C” stands for “Chateau,” evoking romance and grandeur, while “Y” symbolizes the legacy of Yaldara, reflecting the winery’s deep love for its terroir, its grapes, and the vibrant beauty of life. The label’s bright and refreshing colors capture the energy and spontaneity of youth, symbolizing those joyful moments of raising a glass under the sun and breeze.

Riesling

Bright and refreshing, it opens with scents of lime blossom, zesty lemon and green apple.

In the mouth it bursts with citrus and grapefruit, tangy acid brings freshness and a long clean zesty finish.

Chardonnay

Bursting with aromas of citrus blossom, nectarine and crisp green apple, it delivers an exciting fruit driven palate.

Flavours of lemon, white peach and subtle minerality are beautifully balanced by refreshing acidity leading to a clean and lingering finish.

Rose

This elegant rose bursts with delicate aromas of wild strawberries, ripe raspberries and rose petals. The palate is fresh and lively, offering juicy red berry flavours, crisp acidity and a refreshing dry finish.

Moscato

The nose is full of lemon sherbet, musk and light citrus rind. The palate shows hints of nectarine and white peach that leads into lemon sorbet.

Shiraz

The nose is full of blackberry jam and just a hint of vanilla. Grippy tannins at the front melt away quickly to reveal berries and dark fruit, almost jammy enough to put on scones. There is a wonderful zing of acid to keep everything exciting.
