Things to do at Chateau Yaldara

Walk through our original cellars and be immersed in our extensive history. You will be surrounded by one-of-a-kind products from years gone by and see how the very first Yaldara vintage of 1947 came to be. These cellars will allow you to understand why Yaldara wines are so special to us and learn some fun facts along the way.

After this unique experience, join one of our cellar door hosts for a tasting, pre selected by our expert team, these will show you not only what we are good at but what the Barossa is all about.

We do our best to accomodate walk ins, please be mindfull at busy periods this may not be possible.

Tours run from 9 am with the last time being 3 pm

Join us at Chateau Yaldara and tap into our treasure trove of incredible fortified wines. Enjoy a self guided tour through our historic cellars and maturation areas, get to see, smell, and soak up the magic which is over 75 years of fortified history. You will learn about the Barossa Valley and the Chateau’s rich history, wine-making techniques and more as you immerse yourself into this fantastic opportunity to go behind the scenes. On returning to our cellar door, you will be spoilt with our entire range of current release fortifieds.

We require 72 hours notice for all bookings, bookings are essential and can be made by calling us at the cellar door. Full payment at the time of booking needs to be taken to complete your booking.
